primary - baby and kids clothes

The focus of Primary, a baby and kids clothing line, is on simple and colorful clothing without imagery or text that can be a dependable, practical, and fun staple in a kid's wardrobe. I had seen ads for their company and had friends that had mentioned liking their stuff. I appreciate minimal and simple and wanted to try them out, although they are not organic (I don't think half of the clothing for my kids is organic. Yes, in an ideal world, but it isn't financially feasible).

After reaching out to them, they sent me the the Long Sleeve Zip Romper in petal, size 12-18 months and the Long Sleeve Dress in grape, size 4-5.

Both of my girls have been able to wear both for nearly a year. Some clothes seem magical like that. Our baby was about 7 or 8 months and was able to comfortably wear the romper and she is now 16 months and is still able to wear it. The photo here is of her at 16 months.

There is plenty of room in the seat of this and that gives the baby plenty of room to move the legs around. Sometimes our baby sleeps on her stomach with knees bent, so having a lot of space in the seat is important so it doesn't get tight. This works great. The zipper has held up well and the cotton is very soft and thick. There is now a very tiny run in one section of the leg, but it doesn't particularly bother me. We have used this as one of our go to rompers, so it has been washed a lot.

The dress has been one of our daughter's favorite and ours too. I love that it satisfies her want for her dresses to be flouncy, twirly ideally...and is great for also playing in safely. The color choices are so appealing. And it has pockets! It used to be longer on her at just over 3 years old. Now at almost 4, she can still comfortably wear it, with a pair of leggings easily. Amazing.

I am looking into purchasing the Hoodie in grape for our older daughter, the Legging, and the Reversible Twirly skirt. Our baby gets nearly all of our older daughter's clothes, so at this point, I think the only thing I am looking at is the Hoodie in her size.

It's great that their prices are totally reasonable and they have free shipping with no minimum!
Thanks to Primary for the clothes, I am so glad to know about these staples for our daughter's wardrobe for the coming years.
